In-migration- migration to a country that some one is not native to that they are going to settle in.
Out-Migration- Migration that is getting away from someone's native country.
Forced migration- When someone is forced to move out of the country for a reason.
Net Internal Migration- total number of people migrated in a country
Movers from abroad- Someone that has moved from one country to another
Internally displaced person (IDP) - when some one is in a country that are being forced to leave.
The Sudan Civil War- The British gave Sudan Independence and Muslim and Christain in one country. These gruops do not get along. Sudan had a civil war in 1983. In that year, President Nimeiri announced that Sudan would Punish people that were not Islam. They used old Islamic methods of punishment thsat were very harsh.
Most of the southern part of Sudan was not Islamic so a fight broke out between the two north and south. People in the South started to flee the country of Sudan because of the punishments.

In class we watched more of the movie. In it, the teens came to the U.S. and they had to transition to their new life like how to use electricity. They missed their friends that they had to leave behind.
